About Me

Hi, I’m Shehan Avishka — a Software Engineer at PickMe, currently on the Research & Development team, building AI agents and studying post-quantum cryptography-safe algorithms.

I enjoy writing about my thoughts and experiences and sharing them with others. Teaching and breaking down complex problems into simple, understandable ideas is something I love. Just like I ask ChatGPT to explain concepts as if I were a 7-year-old, I try to do the same when sharing knowledge with humans.

A record of things done

I I was trained in the sciences at the University of Colombo School of Computing.
II I served DirectFN as an intern, and IFS as a Software Engineer.
III I built backend systems for PickMe, Sri Lanka's largest food delivery platform.
IV I was called to the Research & Development order, where I raise agents of artificial intelligence.
V I study the ciphers that will hold against the machines of the future.
VI I returned to my alma mater to pursue a Master of Computer Science, that I might understand more deeply.
